Biography
Yinda (Frédéric) Xu (许胤达) is a PhD student in Computer Science at Shanghai Jiaotong University. His long-term interests consist of Robot Learning and Embodied AI. Specifically, Manipulation, Planning and Decision-Making, and Multi-Agent Intelligence.
Currently, he is conducting research in Robotics/Embodied AI at the Horizon Robotics, focusing on Humanoid Locomotion and Manipulation, Whole-Body Control.
He served as a Software Engineer (Prediction & Planning) at DeepRoute.ai, Shenzhen, China. His latest projects involve Deep Reinforcement Learning-based Trajectory Tracking, Reachability Analysis, Game Theoretic Optimization, and more.
He received his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University. In 2019, he did a research internship at the Detection team of Megvii Research.
